Marsh 2011
I like the orchids.
Sure, they are boring when they don't bloom. But when
they do, it's a feast for the eyes.
So it is important to make sure that they bloom often. As
I pick up a lot of other things I'm doing
information online. This summer I replanted three of them
the orchids to see if there would be any difference. I
bought orchid soil at COOP and cleaned the plants
from old earth. Then the roots should be cut to 1dm
length and withered roots are removed. I spared first
the orchid I got when I turned 50 (actually five years ago,
you can't believe that) because it has bloomed profusely over the years
and I don't want to screw it up. The other three there is only one who
have rebloomed so I took the risk with them.
OK. On with now soil and the cleared plants.
It didn't take long until one tangible
saw that they had been given new life. They started shooting new ones
leaves and the one of them that never flowered again shot one
flower stalk. I have had to go and wait
the bloom for several months but today on father's day so
shed the first flower and there are seven more
on G.
Kul är det.
